WATERLOO - George W. "Bill" Miller II, 66, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born Jan. 24, 1948, in Waterloo, son of George W. and Wilda E. Cooper Miller. He married Mary Ellen Bidwell in 1967, and they later divorced. He married Sandra L. Briden on July 26, 2000, in Las Vegas.

He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was employed in assembly with John Deere at the NE site.

Survived by his wife; a son, Scott (Stephenie) of Vinton; daughter, Kathryn (Mike) Wicker of Belleville, Wis.; his mother, of Phoenix; a brother, Robert T. (Charlene) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Ferrol Miller of Azle, Texas; six grandchildren, Skyln Tibbals, Abby and Rudy Wicker, Nathan (Maria) Pitz, Lena (Ryan) Hill and Rhea Wieditz; his father and mother-in law, Marion and Dorathy Briden of Waterloo; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Bonnie Briden of Janesville; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Dean and James Miller.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Waterloo Memorial Park Chapel, with burial in the cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post No. 49 Honor Guard. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.
