CEDAR FALLS -- Gertrude M. "Trudy” Bratt, 74, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 3, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born Jan. 6, 1940, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Robert and Emma E. Forney Hansen. She married Paul Bratt on July 31, 1968, in Springville, Minn.

Trudy had worked at Paul’s Standard Station, downtown Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Nina Buresh of Savanah, Ga., and Tammy Bratt of Waterloo; six grandchildren; two brothers, John Hansen of Horton and Kyle Hansen of Cedar Falls; a sister, Judy Hoover of Cedar Falls; and half sister, Amelia Drew of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death her parents; and three sisters, Evangeline Henricksen, Zoe Acklin and Rosie Harthill.

Private family services: will be held, with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Fall. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.
