WATERLOO - Betty J. Gavlock, 81, of 407 Belmont St., died Saturday, April 21, 2001, at home of cancer.

She was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Waterloo, daughter of Glenn and Georgie Mueller Biggle. She married Frank F. Gavlock on Oct. 28, 1939, in Waterloo. He died Dec. 5, 1991.

Mrs. Gavlock was employed by Kelvington Flowers for 30 years and with Q&T Pharmacy for 10 years.

Survived by a son, Mark of Waterloo; a daughter, Gail Gavlock of Arlington, Va.; and a granddaughter.

Preceded in death by a brother, Burdell Biggle.
