WATERLOO - Grace B. Gnade, 80, of Webster City, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Southfield Wellness Center, Webster City.

She was born Dec. 21, 1924, in Little Rock, daughter of John and Trientje Harms Becker. She married Kenneth L. Gnade Dec. 21, 1945, in Waterloo.

She had worked on the sliced bacon line for Rath Packing Co. and most recently worked at the Webster City Middle School until 2000.

Survived by her husband; a son, Daniel (Judy) of Manteca, Calif.; a daughter, Barbara (Larry) Furman of Blairsburg; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Georgiann) Becker of California; and three sisters, Jean (Les) Wildeboer of Independence, Jo Boekhout of Little Rock and Gert Krahling of California.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Harm and Dwayne Becker; three sisters, Dina Lloyd, Fannie Ackerman and Effie Moncur; and a granddaughter.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
