Darla D. Dinsdale, 54 of Guttenburg, formerly of Traer died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Cedar Valley Hospice House in Waterloo. Private family services were held Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Overton Funeral Home in Traer with burial at the Buckingham Cemetery.

Darla Diann Dinsdale was born August 2, 1956 in Waterloo to James and LaNell (Lewis) Dinsdale. She attended River Hill School in Waterloo and then made her home at the G & G Group Home in Garnavillo for the past 14 years. Darla worked at the G & G Work Center in Guttenburg. Her death came on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo at the age of 54 years.

Darla is survived by her parents, James and LaNell Dinsdale, of Traer; one sister, Lisa Revord of Omaha, Neb.; one brother Tim and his wife Cindy of Traer; one nephew, Taylor Dinsdale; three nieces, Savannah Thompson, Chelsea Dinsdale and Cameron Dinsdale.
