GILBERTVILLE - Jersey Ann Lutgen, 3, of Gilbertville, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, from complications of trisomy 13.

She was born Oct. 14, 2001, in Waterloo, daughter of Jason and Dawn Demuth Lutgen.

Survivors include her parents of Gilbertville; three brothers, Austin, Logan and Maddux Lutgen, all at home; maternal grandparents, Bob and Karen Demuth of Gilbertville; paternal grandmother, Carol Lutgen of Gilbertville; maternal great-grandparents, George and Maxine Bengston of Waterloo; paternal great-grandmother, Helene Lutgen of Gilbertville.

Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Richard "Dick" Lutgen; maternal great-grandmother, Beverly Bengston; maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Veronica Demuth; paternal great-grandparents, Evelyn Wagner and William Schmit.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, both in Gilbertville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Hagarty-Wachoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, Waterloo. Visitation also for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
