WATERLOO - Gladys A. Driscoll, 86, of Gilbert, Ariz., formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at her home.

She was born April 17, 1922, in LaPorte City, daughter of Nicholas and Katherine Bastendorf Frost. She married George Page, and they were later divorced. She then married Vincent "Bud" Driscoll in May 1956. He died June 11, 2004.

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College (UNI). She was a homemaker and worked part-time jobs at the Waterloo Post Office, Black Hawk County Court House and as an official at local elections.

Survived by three sons, Gregory Page of Salem, Ore., Dennis (Carmen) Driscoll of Gilbert and Zachary (Natalie) Driscoll of Phoenix; five daughters, Diana (Bill) Thomas of Zion, Ill., Patricia Page of San Francisco, Joanne (Bob) Clark of Denver, Colo., Connie Sturdy of Farmers Branch, Texas and Betty (John) Girsch of Portland, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Michael Page; four brothers, Raphael and Robert in infancy, and Thomas (Marie) and Richard (Jane) Frost; and four sisters, Gertrude (Bob) Vance, Anna (Richard) Smith, Helen (Jack) Kelley and Mildred (Richard) Fehl.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil, and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. There will be no visitation at the church on Thursday.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Columbus Catholic High School.
