Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Kubly, 79, who died at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Francis, 210 Williston Avenue, were conducted in First Evangelical Church this afternoon, with Rev. O. M. Yaggy in charge. Mrs. Kubly had been ill about 10 days.

She was born in Switzerland March 20, 1849, coming to this country with her parents in 1864 and settling on a farm near Monroe, Wis. She was married to Jacob Kubly March 24, 1870. Her husband died in 1904, and during the last 13 years she had resided with her daughter here.

Mrs. Kubly had been a member of the Evangelical church since childhood, and since coming to Waterloo had been a member of the First Evangelical Church and of the Willing Workers' class in that church.

Another daughter, Mrs. Alvin C. Fox, resides at 1831 Third Street West
