WATERLOO - Gretchen Todd Parker, 70, formerly of Waterloo, died June 26, 2005.

She was born Feb. 1, 1935, in Imperial, Neb., daughter of L.G. and Emma Richardson Todd. She married Donald Gary Parker on Oct. 26, 1956, in Burbank, Calif.

Mrs. Parker graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1953. She served as deputy to Conway Colliss of the California State Board of Equalization, then became chief assistant to March Fong Yu, Secretary of State of California, and later served as director of operations for the Walter Mathau Co., Brentwood, Calif., retiring in 1992.

Survived by her husband; three sons, Bryan of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Gregory (Maril) of Julian, Calif., and Bruce (Marie) of Burbank, Calif.; a grandson; two sisters, Helen (James) Gordon of Waterloo and Peggy (Gordon) Meyer of Gig Harbor, Wash.; and two brothers, W. Tom (Lavonne) Todd of Rio Verde, Ariz., and Gary R. (Margaret) Todd of Green Valley, Ariz.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Betty Todd ONeil.

Memorial services: 1 to 4 p.m. July 23 at Orcutt Ranch, Canoga Park, Calif.
