CEDAR FALLS - Agnes Viola Morrison, 80, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, July 4, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Mabel, Minn., daughter of Henry Siebert and Emily Vesterse Lund. She married Lawrence Morrison on June 11, 1949, in Black Hammer, Minn.

Mrs. Morrison received her cosmetology license in 1943, then moved to Waterloo in 1944 and worked at the YMCA and at Rath Packing Co. for 33 years. She and her husband were very active in square dancing and cards. They enjoyed square dancing, ballroom dancing and round dancing. She belonged to many dance clubs such as Whirlaways, Motivators and Dancing Monarks.

Agnes will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of Cedar Falls; a son, Larry (Deborah) of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Emily and Joseph Morrison, both of Waterloo; a brother, Lee (Lucille) Lund of Fond-du-Lac, Wis.; and a sister, Ona Brand of Winona, Minn.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a brother, Melvin Lund; and three sisters, Edna Iken, Evelyn Tillarras and Unice Colvin.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Waterloo, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church or charity of donor's choice.
