Phyllis J. Waskow, 66, of 8115 Independence Ave., died Sunday Dec. 15, 1991, at Allen Memorial Hospital of heart failure.

She was born May 28, 1925, in Strongsburg, Neb., daughter of Holly H. and Minnie Renner Mills. She married Charles H. Waskow on Aug. 20, 1947, in Waterloo He died Oct. 4, 1982.

Mrs. Waskow farmed from 1957 until 1982, and worked at Rath Packing Co., retiring in 1975.

Survivors include two sons, David C. of Marshalltown and Daniel L. of Waterloo; three daughters, Mary J. Jensen of Waterloo, Barbara A. Gray of Dunkerton and Diane M. Albers of Wellsburg; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Manross and Lucille Hopkins, both of Waterloo; and two brothers, Lyman Mills of Bremerton, Wash., and Sydney A. Mills of Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion and Ralph Mills; and a daughter, Donna M. Waskow

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Bennington Township, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 3 to 8 p.m.
