READLYN — Muriel Ann Farrill, 88, of Readlyn, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at the Tripoli Nursing Home, Tripoli, of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 2, 1915, in Dunkerton, daughter of Edward and Anna Sommers Tiedt. She married Virgil Farrill on Oct. 16,1935, in Waverly He died March 28, 1986.

Mrs. Farrill graduated from Tripoli High School in 1933. She and her husband farmed.

Survivors include two daughters, Naomi (Donald) Welsh of Kansas City, Mo., and Eloyce (Byron) Munk of Sumner; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother, Donald Tiedt.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Waverly, with burial in the church cemetery Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Readlyn, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service. Visitation also before services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials will be directed to Readlyn Library, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tripoli Nursing Home or Heart of Iowa Hospice.
