WATERLOO -- Phyllis E. Flynn Foster, 86, of Waterloo, died Monday, March 10, in San Diego.

She was born April 23, 1927, in Nashua, daughter of Harold R. and Vera Fitzpatrick Flynn. She married Dellon F. Foster on Nov. 14, 1946, in Waterloo.

Phyllis was a homemaker and worked in the health care industry as an LPN for 10 years.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Della Kay (Tim) Masker of Readlyn and Nancy Foster of San Diego; two sons, Darwin of Waterloo and William (Deborah) of Coon Rapids, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Helen (Irvin) Fischels.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church.

Phyllis loved her family and cooking for all of them. She also shared her love of cooking at the American Retreat House and Blessing Church. She loved traveling, painting with oils, and enjoyed music by singing and playing the violin and piano.
