WATERLOO - Elfrieda Louise Eschweiler, 97, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab of natural causes.

She was born July 25, 1910, in Hausberg, Germany, daughter of Carl and Therese Plaisier Webbeking. She married Henry "Blackie" G. Eschweiler Oct. 31, 1930, in Independence. He died Jan. 1, 1972.

She worked as a cake decorator for Webbeking Bakery for more than 46 years.

Survived by a daughter, M. Jean Anderson of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Jerri (Regina) Casillas, Timothy (Brenda) Casillas, Robbin Zook, Don Anderson and Susan McMullen; a granddaughter-in-law, Pamm Casillas; 20 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert (Elaine) Webbeking of Waterloo; a sister, Dorothy Worst of Lockport, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Jane Webbeking of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Charlotte Casillas; a son-in-law, Louis Casillas; three grandsons, Rick and Joseph Casillas and Jason Hallett; and four brothers, Vernon, Carl, Otto and Ewald Webbeking.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with burial of ashes in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
