WATERLOO - John C. Chamberlin, 63, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 3, 1945, in Waterloo, son of Harold and Dorothy Wittman Chamberlin.
Survived by nine cousins, Mary (Frank) Teel of Evansdale, Cyndy (Bob) Gilchrest of Bethel, Conn., Barbara (Jerry) Chaffin of Lawrence, Kan., Barb (Bob) Fennald and Jenette Kester, both of Jesup, Margaret Dilts, Madonna (Bill) Coulter and Shirley Bagby, all of Independence, and Jack (Rose) Kerkove of New Hampton.
Preceded in death by his parents; and a cousin, Alice Fernau.
Services were today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
