Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Memories for Mrs. James Murray, 51, of 907 Lincoln St. She died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday at Allen Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Cause of death was pyelonephritis - inflammation of the pelvis and kidney.

She was born Nina Jorgensen April 25, 1897, in Algona, daughter of Anton and Anna Marie Dundesen Jorgensen. On Dec. 31, 1919, she was married to James Murray in Blue Earth, Minn. The couple came to Waterloo 15 years ago from Algona.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Helen Marie, Margaret Anna and Nina Marie, all of Rt. 3; four sons, Gerald Robert Major, a son by a previous marriage, of 224 Michigan Dr., Elk Run Heights; James Jr., 228 5th St., Evansdale; Roger William, 130 Gilbertville Rd., Elk Run Heights, and Gordon Earl, in the service in Korea; eight grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Campbell, Senaca; Mrs. William Muchey, Algona, and Mrs. William Mattlin, Urbana, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 13 brothers and sisters.

Dr. Deane Chapman, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery [Waterloo].
