The son of Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Webber, he was born in Humboldt, Iowa, September 12, 1886. He married Irene Cutler in 1926, the marriage later ending in divorce.

Surviving are a son, Leonard, a marine, stationed at Bremerton, Wash.; three brothers: M. A. 522 Conger Street, C. M., in California, and J. C., Oxnard, Calif., and three sisters: Mrs. Esther Cutler, Ft. Hall, Ida., Mrs. Nellie Smith, 319 Utica Street, and Mrs. Therresa Surrell, 522 Conger Street.
