HEMSATH, TJYDEN, WEIDMAN

Fred Hemsath, 62, Dewar, died at 8 a.m. today in a local hospital, from obstruction of the bowel.

Deceased was born March 18, 1867, in Germany. When he was 18, he came with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hemsath, to the United States, the family settling at Hastings, Neb.

He married Miss Ida Tjyden* there in 1890. She died in 1918. Hemsath came to Dewar to make his home a year ago last spring. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

Surviving are seven children: Will, Mrs. Elmer Weidman, Carl, Ernest, Ralph and Emma, Dewar, and Henry, Waterloo; a sister, Lena, St. Louis, and two brothers, William, Saskatchewan, Can., and Henry, Waterloo.

The body is at Petersen Bros.' mortuary.
