HUE, THIES, GRAENING, KREIS, BIEMAN, BUNGER, KOCH, BROWN

Louis C. Hue, 74, died of a heart ailment at 11:45 p.m. Monday at Allen Memorial Hospital. He had been confined to the hospital for several weeks.

He was born May 7, 1877, in Black Hawk County, the son of Herman and Caroline [Thies] Hue.

On March 5, 1902, he married Anna Graening in Bremer County and farmed there until she died in 1919. Later he married Anna [Kreis] Bieman at Mokena, Ill., and returned to the farm.

He retired from farming in 1936 and moved to Plainfield where he lived for a year before moving to Waterloo where he worked for the Litchfield Manufacturing Co., from 1945 to 1949. He was a member of Trinity American Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a wife and two daughters of his first marriage, Mrs. Oliver Bunger, Tripoli, and Mrs. R. C. Koch, 636 Reber Avenue; three brothers, John and red of Los Angeles, Cal., and Gustav of Pasco, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. S. M. Brown, Plainfield, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, a brother and his first wife.

The body will be at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
