KRUEGER, SHOEMAKER, SMITH

Funeral services are pending for Mrs. Anna Christina Krueger, 85, of 715 Cottage Street, who died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at home of complications incident to advanced age.

She was born on March 24, 1865, in Germany, the daughter of Ludwig and Fredricka Krueger.

After receiving her education in Germany, she came to the united States with her parents when she was 16 years of age, settling in waterloo. She lived in Waterloo all her life, except for a period of eight years she spent in Toledo, Ohio, going there in 1896, returning to Waterloo in 1904.

She was married to William C. Krueger at Toledo, Ohio, in 1887. He died in 1904.

She was a member of First Lutheran church.

Surviving are four sons, Martin A. 715 Cottage Street, with whom Mrs. Krueger lived, Harold W., 122 Lincoln Street, and Albert H. and George K, both of Los Angeles, Cal.; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Smith, 2525 West Fourth Street; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers.

The body is at Locke Funeral Home.
