WATERLOO - Bernadine A. "Barney" Mullin, 79, of Waterloo, died at home Friday, April 22, 2005.

She was born May 15, 1925, in Waterloo, daughter of Edward Joseph and Ruth Isabelle Chevaliar Moran. She married August Heidemann in March 1949 in Waterloo. He died in June 1957. She married Virgil Robert Mullin on Feb. 27, 1960, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Mullin was employed as a bartender at the Welcome Inn.

Survivors include her husband of Waterloo; two daughters, Sue (Keith) Pittman of Waterloo and Sonja (Tim) Cadwell of Hamilton, Mo.; a sister, Mary Jane Gilbert of Waterloo; a granddaughter, LeAnn Freeman of Waterloo; and two great-grandchildren, Skyler and Dillon, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a sister, Grace Sietz; three brothers, Edward, William and Thomas; and three half sisters, Marjorie Keiffer, Marjorie Moe and Madeline Moran.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
