CEDAR FALLS - Evelyn Irene Hall, 80, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at the Western Home Communities Assisted Living.

She was born Sept. 18, 1924, in Rowley, daughter of Jesse J. and Florence M. Nenno Gapinski. She married Howard Lee Hall Aug. 20, 1946, in Independence. He died Dec. 12, 1984.

Ms. Hall graduated from Gates Business College in Waterloo. Prior to starting her family, she was a secretary at Chamberlain Manufacturing.

Survivors include three sons, Gary L. (Susan) of Boston, James H. (Mary) of Tama and Kevin M. (Pam) of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Laura L. (David) Olson of Cedar Falls; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Elinor Root of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in St. Johns Catholic Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be a 7 p.m. Scripture service Thursday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
