Lester Miller, 52, of Denver, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, in Elysian, Minn., of an apparent heart attack.

He was born March 18, 1953, in Waterloo, son of Lowell and Opal Farr Miller. On April 21, 1972, he married Becky Schlomann at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Denver.

Mr. Miller graduated from Denver High School in 1971, then went to work for John Deere, Waterloo, and has worked in several departments throughout his 33 years of employment.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Chris (Amy) of East Bethel, Minn., and Dana (Holly) of Cedar Rapids; his mother of Denver; two brothers, Dale (Linda) of Waterloo and Bill (Van) of Clear Lake; and three sisters, Becky (Mahlon) Smith, Eva (Don) Jacobson and Julie (Joe) Schmitz, all of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Bryan and Lorna Miller and Lester and Wilma Farr.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Denver. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Denver.

Memorials may be directed to St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Denver Public Library or the Greater Denver Activities Foundation.
