Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p. m. at Locke Funeral Home for William Wilson Lytle, 86, of 1414 West Second Street, who died Monday at 3:45 p. m. at home. He had been ill for a long period of time. He was a former Waterloo city assessor

He was born April 16, 1863, at West Fairfield, Pa., the son of William and Martha Lytle, On June 21, 1888. he married Mary Torrance at Blairsville. Pa. After living there several years he moved with his family to Waterloo. He had been a resident of this city for 39 years. He operated a flower and seed store and was one of the first city assessors.

A member of first Presbyterian Church, he was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Dr. William T., Pittsburgh, Pa.; Albert, at home; one daughter, Harriet, Clinton, Iowa; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rev. H. E. Dierenfield, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family requests that no flowers be sent.
