Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry's Catholic Church, Marshalltown, for a former long time resident of Waterloo and vicinity, Mrs. Alfred Bos, 68, former co-owner of the Bos Truck Lines.

The body is at the Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo.

Mrs. Bos died at 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hallandale, Fla., of a heart attack.

She was born March 20, 1898, near Jesup, the daughter of Edmund T. and Mary Breman Carroll. The family moved to Waterloo about 46 years ago.

She attended elementary school at Raymond and was graduated from the College of Commerce, Waterloo.

She was married to Alfred Bos in September of 1942 in Galveston, Texas. Until their retirement three years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Bos were owners of the Bos Lines, Inc. interstate truck line with home offices in Marshalltown.

Mrs. Bos was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marshalltown.

Surviving are her husband; five sisters: Mrs. Matt Etringer, Rt. 3; Sister Mary Geneva, Dubuque; Mrs. Sylvester Schilling, Denver; Mrs. Welba Woodrum, 926 Lincoln St., Waterloo; Mrs. Kenneth Fettkether, Monrovia, Calif.; four brothers: Edward J. Carroll, Phoenix, Ariz.; William J. Carroll, 1315 W. 7th St.; Leo J. Carroll, Evansdale, and Robert M. Carroll, Marshalltown.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
