CEDAR FALLS -- Genevieve “Bunny” Grassley Wiegmann, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 9, 1923, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Louis A and Ruth G. Corwin Grassley. She married Edward D. Wiegmann on Dec. 14, 1941, in Cedar Falls; he died April 4, 1990.

Bunny graduated from New Hartford High School and was a bookkeeper with F.W. Woolworth Co. for 45 years, retiring in 1989.

Survived by a daughter, Gwen Wiegmann of Riverside; a brother, Sen. Charles (Barbara) Grassley of New Hartford; a brother-in-law, Don West of Cedar Falls; and sister-in-law, Peg Grassley of Boone.

Preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois West; and two brothers, Kenneth “Gene” and Louis “Bud” Grassley.

Graveside services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service.
