WATERLOO - Lynn Anne Bell (Winders), 45, of Waterloo, formerly of Dubuque, died Friday, June 13, 2008, peacefully at home, after a long illness.

Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Hoffmann Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., Dubuque. Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo.

Lynn was born Nov. 5, 1962, daughter of Robert C. and Ruth A. Winders. She married Dennis Bell in Waterloo.

She attended Dubuque Senior High.

Lynn was a loving mother to her son, Dillon, and an avid Chicago Bears fan. She also enjoyed fishing, bicycling, puzzles, bingo and gambling.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis, and son, Dillon, at home; two stepdaughters, Tamra South and Dee Ann (Jeremy) Burns, both of Waterloo; two sisters, Mrs. Beth (Justin) Reynolds and Mrs. Patricia (Gene) Schmitt, both of Dubuque; seven brothers, Mark (Lori) Loso of Cuba City, Wis., Martin Loso, Mitchell (Linda) Loso, James (Diane) Winders, Randy (Lindy) Winders and Daniel Winders, all of Dubuque, and Mitchell Winders of London, Ontario, Canada; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Anna Bell of Waterloo; two sisters-in-law; Mrs. Sandra (Jim) Magnuson of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Jean (Gerald) Schmitt of Waterloo; 25 nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Michael Loso and Robert Winders Jr.; a nephew, Jason Loso; her grandparents, John and Rose Wissing, and Charles and Silvia Winders; and her father-in-law, Elijah Bell.

Memorials may be given to Cedar Valley Hospice, P.O. Box 2880, Waterloo, IA 50704.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank-you to Covenant Cancer Treatment Center and Hospice House, both of Waterloo, for the care they gave to Lynn.
