Services for Everett T. Corcoran, 72, formerly of 1202 Hawthorne Ave. and recently of the Park View Gardens Care Center, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemelery.

There will be a 7:30 p.m. Tuesday parish rosary and a 8 p.m. Tuesday rosary by the Third and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and the Foresters, both at Oppold Funeral Home where friends may call after noon Tuesday.

He died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Parkview Gardens Care Center of cancer.

He was born June 4, 1903, in Warrensburg, Ill., the son of Albert and Mae Delahunty Corcoran. He married Marie Helen Barry Aug. 20, 1941, in Waterloo.

Mr. Corcoran owned and operated the J & J Tavern for 26 years and worked at Waterloo Industries for 15 years where he was president of the plant union.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Thomas of Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, Herbert of 927 W. Fifth St., and Earl of Independence; and a sister, Mrs. Alberta Golinvaux of 801 E. Airline Highway.
