Waterloo - Robert E. Hileman, 80, of 2539 St. Francis Drive, died Friday, April 11, at Allen Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

He was born Oct. 21, 1916, in Waterloo, son of Lester E. and Cora A. Felton Hileman. He married Elaine A. Nolan Sept. 18, 1938, in Waterloo; she died Dec. 18, 1989.

Mr. Hileman was a shipping clerk at Mead container Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1981.

Survived by: four sons, Richard of Cedar Falls, Robert of Bend, Ore., Roger of Iowa City and Randy of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
