WATERLOO - Ida "Pearl" Bailey, 87, of Friendship Village, died there Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001 of natural causes.

She was born March 19, 1913, in Austin, Minn., daughter of Floyd and Emmaline Judson Neff. She married Leland C. Bailey on Dec. 12, 1936, in Waterloo. He died Jan. 6, 1988.

Mrs. Bailey was employed with Standard Battery and Electric for 18 years.

Survived by two sons, David of Terrell, Texas, and Philip of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Carolee Cutsforth of Waterloo, Annette Moore of Mount Vernon, Mo., and Janine Benjamin of Waterloo; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Glen Neff of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Mavis Lemonds; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Parish, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball.

Memorials may be directed to the parish.
