WATERLOO - Willie Mae Baker, 94, of 740 Webster St., died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000 at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born July 2, 1906, in Monticello, Ark., daughter of Henry Dodds and Lucy Miller. She married Emmett Baker on Sept. 23, 1943, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death.

Survived by two sisters, Mattie Smith of Cleveland, Ohio, and Verdie Daniels of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Eunice Washington of St. Joseph, Mo.

Preceded in death by a son, Earl Adams; a brother, Garlind Dodds; and two stepsons, Wilson and Lawrence Baker.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the church. Sanders Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 521 E. Park Ave., where they will receive friends.
