Randy Lee Winkelpleck, 57, of Dysart, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Hendrick Medical Center, Abilene, Texas, of an apparent heart attack.

He was born March 17, 1955, in Waterloo, son of Gail and Anna Mae Mauderer Winkelpleck. He married Martha Riley on May 20, 2000, at their home in Dysart.

Mr. Winkelpleck graduated from Dysart-Geneseo High School in 1973, then began trucking for his father in the family trucking business and also worked on the farm. Since 2000 he has operated Dysart Trucking Inc.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Daniel Jay and Nicolas Richard, both of Dysart; his mother of Dysart; and a sister, Denise Kimball of Dysart.

Preceded in death by his father.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Dysart, with burial in Dysart Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Overton Funeral Home, Dysart, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial fund has been established.

In his free time, Randy enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, attending auctions and enjoyed his old cars.
