FAIRBANK - James Venice Levendusky, 67, of Fairbank, died Friday, June 18, 2010, at home of cancer.

He was born Feb. 8, 1943, in Oelwein, son of Venice Levendusky and Mildred Irene Lookabaugh. He married Karen McFadyen on Nov. 23, 1972, in Waterloo.

Mr. Levendusky retired in 1994 from Deere and Co. after 30 years and was a rural route Waterloo Courier carrier.

Survived by: his wife; five daughters, Tammy (Kevin) Erickson of Fairbank, Julie Kane of Cedar Rapids, Sarah (Jim) Langel of Cedar Falls, Jamie Levendusky of Oelwein and Jill (Brad) White of Monticello; a son, Steve (Jeannette) Husome of Cedar Falls; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gary (Jeanne Wood) of Sumner and Mitchell of Monona.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a son, David Levendusky.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Oran. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Woods Funeral Home, Fairbank.
