James Lester "Dutch" Wiley, 86, of Allison, formerly of Parkersburg, died Tuesday, June 15, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison from natural causes.

He was born Aug. 29, 1923, at home in Cedar Falls, son of Andrew James and Pauline Ruth Klodt Wiley.

Mr. Wiley attended Parkersburg High School. Through the years he worked at Fischal Construction Co., for the Butler County Fair Board and did odd jobs for local farmers.

Survived by two sisters, Jean Harris of Allison and Roberta "Bobbie" Kahler of Grinnell.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Robert in infancy and Corp. John Wiley.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Lutheran Church, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, both in Parkersburg. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Parkersburg, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
