WATERLOO — Larry Dean “Uncle Larry” Anfinson, 60, of Waterloo, died at home Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 24, 1951, in Waterloo, son of William and Mary Lucille Beenken Anfinson. He married Sharon Eileen Schull on July 14, 1972, in Waterloo.

Mr. Anfinson was employed as a heavy equipment operator with John Deere for 30 years, retiring in 2000.

Survived by his wife; a sister-in-law, Linda Anfinson of Jesup; 25 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and -nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Dean (Millie), Albert and James (Louie); and two sisters, LaVonne Anfinson and Mary Ann Manson.

Memorial services: 5 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, preceded by an hour of visitation.
