Christos Kretsos, 74, died of pulmonary infarction at 7:30 a. m. Saturday at an Independence hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks.

He had made his home for the past 21 years with Mr. and Mrs. Roy N. McCombs, 212 Jefferson St.

He was born in Metelinous, Samos, Greece, April 7, 1879, and came to the United States in 1910.

Surviving are two sisters and two brothers in Greece.

The body is at Locke Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are pending.
