EVANSDALE - Mildred Catherine Anfinson, 68, of Evansdale, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, of end stage heart failure.

She was born April 3, 1937, in Cresco, daughter of Edward and Helen A. Koudelka Tlusty. She graduated from Cresco High School in 1956. She married William Dean Anfinson April 24, 1957, at Holy Cross Church, Schley.

Survived by her husband of Evansdale; four daughters, Mandy (Bernard) Reinking of Oelwein, Gwen (Daniel) Ferrie of Jacksonville, Fla., Jacquie (Tom) Spier of Sumner and Deanne (Kevin) Leistikow of Readlyn; 13 grandchildren; and a brother.

Preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Notre Dame Parish-Assumption Worship Center, Cresco, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Schley. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, Waterloo, and from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Conway Funeral Home, Cresco, where there will be a 4:30 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture.
