Mrs. Louise Steggall, 60, Delmar, a former Waterloo resident, died at 12:01 a.m. yesterday of complications of heart attack and stroke.

She was born March 27, 1907, at Maynard, the daughter of Albert and Sarah Meikle Hoth. She married Paul Jacoby in 1924 at Oelwein. They were later separated. She married Robert Steggall in March, 1939, in Dubuque.

She is survived by six daughters: Mrs. O. W. Scheetz, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Ted Mienders, 1318 W. 5th St., Cedar Falls; Mrs. Joe Sauer, 127 Dearborn Ave.; Mrs. Pauline Closson, 437 Reed St.; Mrs, Robert Gill, Delmar; and Mrs, Jack Wentworth, 1715 Corning Ave.; two sisters, Mrs. Vere Yambert, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs, Tom McKieren, Norco, Calif., and by two brothers, Donald Hoth, Lamont, and William, of Oelwein, and by 22 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, one brother, and two grandchildren.
