Carolyn Marie Lohmann, 62, of Readlyn, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

She was born Nov. 17, 1942, in Waterloo, daughter of Willard and Wilma Doepke Kohagen. On April 2, 1961, she married Ronald Lohmann at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Readlyn.

ôMrs. Lohmann graduated from Wapsie Valley High School in 1960, then attended Business Institute of Technology and studied business accounting. She worked at Joe Pryor Insurance Co., Waterloo, for many years.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Alan (Theresa) of Tripoli, Craig (Wendy) of Denver and Eric of Readlyn; two daughters, Brenda (JP) Buzynski of Hudson and Debra (Daniel) Leisinger of Denver; 14 grandchildren; her mother of Readlyn; two sisters, Marlene Barnes of Readlyn and Diane (Mark) Rourke of Fairbank; and four brothers, Darrol (Joan) Kohagen of Sumner, Ronald (Nancy) and Joel Kohagen, both of Readlyn, and Virgil (Tina) Kohagen of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a granddaughter; and a sister, Shirley Kohagen.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Readlyn, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Community Lutheran School Endowment Fund.
