Services for Hollie M. Hollifield, 86, of 740 Grant Ave., will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Wesleyan Church, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. He died Thursday morning at Schoitz Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 12, 1899, in Mayfield, Ky,, son of Bascomb and Dola Grace Hollifield. He married Evelyn Romero in November 1969 in Elizabethtown, Ky.

Mr. Hollifield was self-employed as a cotton farmer in Kentucky.

He is survived by his wife.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
