WATERLOO - Kirk Lee Evans, 61, of Waterloo, died at home Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014.

He was born July 28, 1952, in Waterloo, son of Keith "Pete" and Cora Melva Engel Evans. He married Renee Lash in 1983 in Waterloo and they later divorced.

Mr. Evans was employed in management at Tyson Manufacturing for 23 years until his retirement.

Survived by two sons, Keith (Meghan) of Ofallon, Ill., and Ryan of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Maddex Evans, Shyne Evans and Addison Thompson; and a brother, Scott of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Nancy Hartson.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.
