Funeral services for Mrs. Ernest Johnson, 75, former resident of Waterloo and Cedar Falls, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Eyler funeral home in Clarion., Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls. There will be a graveside service about 3 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Johnson, died at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday at Community Mercy Hospital in Clarion. She had suffered a heart ailment a week ago.

She was born Mary Langdon on Feb. 6, 1894, at Charles City, the daughter of Jesse and Lucy Butterfield Langdon. She was married to Ernest Johnson in Charles City in 1911.

When they resided here her husband was employed by the Illinois Central Railroad for
many years.

Surviving are her husband at Clarion; one son, Raymond Johnson of Rt. 1, Hudson; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Backerman of 336 Glencoe Ave., 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and a granddaughter.
