WATERLOO - Jane Kelly Kennedy, 88, of Waukegan, Ill., formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, in Bradenton, Fla.

She was born in 1925, daughter of John and Ellen Kelly. She married Roland Kennedy and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kennedy and two of her sisters, Frannie and Gerry, formed The Kelly Sisters, and sang at venues across the United States with the USO during World War II, eventually performing in theaters and nights clubs.

Survived by three sons, Roland Jr. (Laura) of Sarasota, Fla., John (Debra) of Parrish, Fla., and Steve (Cheryl) of Waterloo; a daughter, Elizabeth (Roger) Kennedy-Mouritsen of Seattle; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gerry Keirnan and Ginger Durkin, both of Waukegan.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Sarasota.
