WATERLOO - Virginia Ann McCollough, 91, of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, Dec. 22.

She was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Brooklyn, daughter of Allison and Mayme Lawrence Thierman. She married J.R. McCollough on Aug. 24, 1944, in San Francisco; he died Nov. 6, 1997.

Mrs. McCollough was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and First Baptist Church. She retired from Community Buick in 1986 as office manager.

Survived by a son, Larry (Beverly) of Waterloo; two daughters, Andrea McCollough and Connie McCollough, both of Minneapolis; and three grandchildren, Michael (Teresa) McCollough of Waterloo, Ian (Lana) McCollough of Denver and Jessica (Jeff) Rubendahl of Queen Creek, Ariz.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Betty Middleton.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Waterloo, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.
