WATERLOO - Berniece Foster, 90, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 1, 1917, in Hanover, Ill., daughter of Elmer E. and Catherine Fitzpatrick Sanderson. She married Vern F. Foster on July 25, 1954, in Waterloo. He died Oct. 4, 1966.

Mrs. Foster worked as a secretary for Rath Packing Co., was a prep cook for Carpenters and was a Senior Companion.

Survivors include two daughters, Ramona B. Noble of Evansdale and Lavere (Dennis) Adams of Waterloo; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a granddaughter; three brothers, Francis "Bud," Earl "Kentucky" and Howard Sanderson; and four sisters, Myrtle Hovar, Ethel Green, Pearl Sanderson and Blanche Fowler.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
