Mrs. Jennie Erwin, 78, died at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Black Hawk County Home, where she had resided for the past five years. Death was due to old age and complications.

Born on Aug. 21, 1866, at Ridgeway, Iowa, she was married Nov. 16, 1907, to Linton J. Erwin, at Faribault, Minnesota. They moved to Waterloo in 1909, the same year he died.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. H. L. Tomison, 519 West Mullan Avenue, and Mrs. George Mobeck, Chicago, and three sisters, Mrs. Ollie Bakker, Ridgeway, Mrs. James Sullivan, Albert Lea, Minnesota, and MRs. Julia Orvold, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The body was taken to Kearns Garden Chapel. The family has requested no flowers.
