Services for Robert C. Murphy, 86, of 435 Baltimore St., will be 11 a.m Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home with buria! in Memorial Park Cemetery at Mason City. Mr. Murphy died Saturday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital.

He was born Feb. 17, 1899, in Denver, Colo., son of Thomas F. and Carissa Kinser Murphy, He married Trulie Mae Helm June 15, 1921, in Minneapolis.

Mr. Murphy was a World War I veteran and was employed by Deere and Co. until he retired in 1964.

He is survived by a son, Robert H. of 629 Ansborough Ave.; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Monday and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
