WATERLOO — Larry G. Orr, 68, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center from complications of surgery.

He was born Dec. 13, 1936, in Waterloo, son of M.D. and Pansy L. White Orr. He married Carolyn Kay Koopmann on Dec. 3, 1966, in Las Vegas. She died Oct. 31, 1999.

Mr. Orr was employed with the city of Waterloo and worked for John Deere for 20 years, retiring in 1987.

Survivors include a brother, Delbert A. of Yuma, Ariz.; and a sister, Ruthanne E. Rooff of Waterloo.

At Larry's request, there will be no funeral services. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 200 E. Ridgeway Ave, Waterloo 50702.
