WATERLOO - James “Jim” Lawrence Craig, 76, of Gulfport, Miss., formerly of Waterloo, died Dec. 4, 2013, in Gulfport.

He was born July 1, 1936, in Waterloo, son of William and Beulah Greene Craig. He married Grace Steege on May 3, 1961.

Mr. Craig was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Gulfport. He was a golf professional, and upon retiring from the golf business worked at Home Depot, Gulfport.

Survived by his wife; a son, James M. (Brandy); two grandchildren; three brothers, Roger and Ed, both of Waterloo, and Pat of Cedar Falls; and five sisters, Marie Schlorff of Waterloo, Florence Gaffney of Des Moines, JoAnne Rathjen of Mason City, Kathleen Jensen of Cameron, Wis., and Charlene Dahlin of Isanti, Minn.

Preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bill, Tom, Dick and Bob; and a sister, Monica Cashman.

Services: were Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 12290 DePew Road, Gulfport, MI 39503. Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
