Services for Agnes Splichal, 90, of 1715 Maplewood Drive, Cedar Falls, formerly of 1522 W. Fourth St., Waterloo, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with burial at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Vining National Cemetery, Vining. Mrs. Splichal died Sunday (Oct. 5. 1986) at Allen Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 21, 1896, in Elberon, daughter of James and Julia Kokesh Karkosh. She married Frank Splichal on Feb. 6, 1912, in Elberon. He died in May 1955.

She owned and operated a fur restyling business in Waterloo until retiring in 1960.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Stewart of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Ruth Herzog of Cedar Falls; six sisters, Mrs. Libbie Smolik of Belle Plaine, Mrs. Charles Cizek and Mrs. Gladys Rayman, both of Gutier, Mrs. Julia Lorenzen of Toledo, Mrs. Eva Poppert of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Dorothy Vorak of Davenport; and four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a granddaughter.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. Waterloo Chapter No. 128 of the Order of Eastern Star will conduct services at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
